Artist Inspiration
I crafted this piece thinking about all of the great classic rock music I listened to in high school. I will never forget the first time I heard Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling Stones. This is a dark and controversial song written from the perspective of the Devil, recounting historical events and tempting human nature’s darker aspects. It explores the allure of evil and serves as a cautionary commentary on the capacity for destruction within humanity. Despite its provocative nature, the song remains a popular and influential rock classic. This piece is for you, Mick. 🤟
